ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 12—Kodak’s “Print Is” campaign, launched in July 2007, recently earned top honors from the Business Marketing Association (BMA) in its annual Pro-Comm Awards Program competition. Kodak won the Best of Division for “Total Communications Program over $200,000.”
The Pro-Comm Awards is a business to business communications award competition that recognizes the work produced for clients who possess the foresight and understanding to direct superior communications, by agencies that demonstrate the ability to transform ideas into effective information that produces results.
“The ‘Print Is’ campaign is one of the many ways Kodak demonstrates its dedication to promoting the power of print to customers,” said Kevin Joyce, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “We’re proud that marketing leaders at BMA have recognized our efforts with this prestigious award.”
The “Print Is” ad campaign seeks to connect on an emotional level through copy and imagery. The campaign targets print consumers, communicating the power of print in all its forms. Messages include “Print is Personal,” “Print is Powerful,” “Print is Transforming” and “Print is Transporting.”
Companies’ best communications works are placed against those of similar scope and budget, judged by a panel of business marketing leaders. Winners receive recognition and the benefit of the BMA’s Pro-Comm promotion in leading business publications, on the BMA website and in member communications.
