Kodak now offers inkjet media options for low cost through high end reproduction
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY, June 1—A suite of new inkjet media solutions from Kodak is ready for the discerning standards of the world’s most demanding artists and photographers. With KODAK Photo and Fine Art Media, users can achieve vivid, vibrant and finely detailed image reproduction for high quality portrayal of original creative work.
On display at Kodak’s drupa stand D01 in Hall 5, new KODAK Photo and Fine Art Media include five product options: Coated Matte, Textured, Smooth, Fibre Glossy and Fibre Satin. Each of these bases is suitable for long term display or archival storage when used in concert with pigmented inks.
The New KODAK Photo and Fine Art Media extend Kodak’s world class portfolio of optimized proofing and wide format inkjet media to meet virtually any output need.
“KODAK Photo and Fine Art Inkjet Media open new business opportunities for print service providers to reproduce high value art and photography,” said John Cross, General Manager, Packaging Products, Prepress Solutions, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “These new options complete Kodak’s inkjet media portfolio, allowing our customers a single source for inkjet media from low cost, general purpose paper through optimized color proofing bases and ultra critical fine art reproduction media.”
The photo and fine art media are available in a range of sizes, including both rolls from 17 inch to 44 inch widths and sheets from U.S. 8.5 inch x 11 inch and European A4 to 17 inch x 22 inch sizes.
