BtoB Magazine Names Kodak’s Jeffrey Hayzlett as a 2007 Best Business to Business Marketer

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 8—Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chief Business Development Officer and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company, was selected by editors of BtoB as a Best Business to Business Marketer for 2007. In honoring Hayzlett, the magazine recognized him as a “print evangelist.”

“Jeff is truly deserving of this award. He’s driven our marketing programs to help our customers grow their businesses,” said Phil Faraci, President and Chief Operating Officer, Eastman Kodak Company. “That’s the ultimate business to business marketing success.”

Hayzlett, who joined Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group as Chief Marketing Officer in April 2006, oversaw a multifaceted program to promote print, generate demand among marketers and print buyers, and drive business to Kodak’s customers. A series of ads with the theme “Print is…” demonstrates the positive impact that print has on people’s lives and reminds print providers that the work they do plays a vital role in commerce and communication.

As part of the campaign, a Print Ambassador website (www.printambassador.com) launched earlier this year. Designed to highlight the innovative approaches for using print to reach consumers with highly targeted, relevant messages, the website provides visitors with market research, customer testimonials, return on investment studies, examples of highly successful print campaigns, and a list of print industry events. A section called “Find a Printer” connects marketers with print providers in their area that meet their production needs.

In addition to the print and online components, Hayzlett and other Kodak executives regularly speak at marketing conferences about the efficacy of print.

“It’s a new Kodak and this award belongs with the entire marketing team,” said Hayzlett.  “Our team is helping guide Kodak through its successful transformation, creating many innovative and unique programs.”
