NAPL cites Jacobson’s distinguished record of service to graphic communications industry

CHICAGO, Oct. 17—NAPL, the trade association for excellence in graphic communications management, last night inducted Jeff Jacobson, Chief Operating Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company, into its prestigious Walter E. Soderstrom Society. Jacobson was inducted Monday alongside seven other industry leaders at the Society’s annual dinner meeting during Graph Expo in Chicago.

Named for the late Walter E. Soderstrom, one of the founders of NAPL, the Soderstrom Society is an organization that provides industry leaders with the opportunity to exchange ideas, suggest improved practices, and recognize the contributions of their peers.

“Induction into the Soderstrom Society is an immense honor for me personally, and an opportunity for me as a representative from Kodak to listen and learn from printing firm owners, educators, consultants and other manufacturers,” said Jacobson.

Jacobson is an active leader in the graphic arts industry. Earlier this year, Jacobson delivered the keynote address at the Web Offset Association Annual Conference. In March 2003, Women In Production (WIP) awarded its prestigious Luminaire Award to Jacobson.
