Certification Broadens Applications for KODAK Scan Station 100 in DOCUWARE Software-based Enterprise Content Management systems
ROCHESTER, N.Y. and NEWBURGH, N.Y., October 16, 2006— Eastman Kodak Company, a leader in document imaging, and DocuWare, an industry leader of integrated document management software, announce that DocuWare has certified its latest generation software, Version 5, with the KODAK Scan Station 100.
The KODAK Scan Station 100 is an office walkup network scanner that quickly and easily turns paper documents into digital files with the touch of a button for simultaneous sharing via email, storing on the network, routing to networked printers and copiers, and saving on portable USB drives—all without using a computer. It connects to existing network infrastructure and features intuitive and interactive operations, including image preview of scanned images prior to sharing, from a full-color, easy-to-use, touch screen. The Scan Station 100 was recognized for its innovation with the “Best of Show” award from a field of more than 200 products at FOSE, the premier government technology tradeshow in March of 2006 in Washington, D.C.
With DocuWare’s certification, the Scan Station 100 easily integrates into a DOCUWARE Software installation where it can provide fully searchable PDFs for filing in DOCUWARE Software.
