Software Platform Choice from Kodak Helps Organizations of All Sizes Take Advantage of Check 21
LAS VEGAS, Nev., October 16, 2006—Today at the Association of Financial Professionals show, Kodak announced an Internet-based client version of its Check Processing software. The new software is designed to further help organizations take advantage of the federal Check 21 Act that promotes remote check processing, providing financial benefits to businesses, banks and government agencies in terms of faster check clearing.
“Our new software platform is designed specifically to meet the demands of small- and medium-sized organizations,” said Andy Lawrence, Worldwide Solutions Business Manager, Document Imaging, Graphic Communications Group. “Customers considering remote capture technology for their deposits or payments are asking for the solution to support Internet-based clients. We are pleased to deliver the KODAK t6000 Internet Client Software to satisfy that request. It allows customers to more easily deploy the remote capture solution to distributed desktops.”
The new software features the latest technologies to assure security of transactions carried out over the Internet and joins Kodak’s Check Imaging Portfolio that includes software designed for high volumes of transaction processing, check scanners, and professional services.
