Harty Integrated Solutions

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 24—Harty Integrated Solutions recently purchased a KODAK DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI digital offset press to bolster short run color printing capabilities. The DIRECTPRESS 5634 press fills a gap between the New Haven, Conn., printer’s toner based color printer and its 40″ color presses.

According to George Platt, President, Harty Integrated Solutions, he selected the DIRECTPRESS 5634 press for its workflow, speed and high quality output.

“Many of our customers are attracted to the benefits of short run color printing, such as time and costs savings,” added Platt. “At the same time, we’re committed to combining the time and cost savings with great color. The DIRECTPRESS 5634 press allows us to lower turnaround time and offer flexible run lengths at the highest quality.”

The DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI system combines industry leading image quality with the simplicity and automation of a Direct Imaging press. Combined with all the essential workflow, service and support components necessary for successful implementation of short run color printing, the DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI system provides outstanding detail and solid coverage, while supporting 16 micron dot diameters for 300 line AM, stochastic and hybrid screening.

Founded in 1900, Harty Integrated Solutions blends technology with talented printing professionals to offer an extensive array of full service capabilities in marketing communications, printing and direct mail. The company employs 93 and is in the top 2 percent of the printing industry based on sales, which are projected to surpass $16.5 million in 2006.
