ROCHESTER, N.Y., December 16, 2005 – Fenske Media Corporation, a Rapid City, S.D.-based commercial printer, has purchased a KODAK VERSAMARK VX5000 Printing System. Recognized as an industry leader in embracing innovative technologies, Fenske is using the VX5000 printing system to produce variable data bank statements, personalized direct mail pieces, web-to-press applications, and disaster recovery services to its customers.
“With its flexible color options and configuration, blended solutions and multiple finishing options, the VX5000 printing system has expanded our capabilities to turn documents such as direct mail pieces and bank statements into more personalized communication tools that our customers can use to send targeted messages to their customers and prospects,” said Tom Fenske, controller, Fenske Media Corporation. ”Due to its high printing speed, the VX5000 has become known as our ‘deadline maker’ to produce important documents that must be printed and in the mail with a short turn-around time.”
With a capacity of up to one million impressions per day, the VX5000 printing system is an integrated, continuous inkjet digital printing system capable of producing 100 percent variable data in black, highlight color and CMYK process color. A roll-fed system with print speeds of up to 500 feet per minute (150 meters per minute), the VX5000 system is designed to handle heavy-duty production with an exceptionally low operation cost per page. Available in several configurations and with a wide selection of pre- and post-processing options, the VX5000 system is designed to handle virtually any variable data printing application.
