ROCHESTER, N.Y., November 7—Installing the KODAK DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI System allows Printech, Inc., in Stamford, Conn., to meet growing customer demand for short-run color work. The company, a user of KODAK equipment for more than 25 years, previously ran short-run color jobs on a larger, less efficient conventional press.
“When we made the decision to add a system for short-run color, it was natural for us to choose Kodak because of our ongoing relationship and confidence in its products,” said Carmine Furci, Partner, Printech, Inc. “With the KODAK DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI System, we are not only able to complete short-run color work for our customers, but we can offer the highest quality and short turnaround times.”
Printech looked at all of the DI (direct imaging) and digital solutions on the market and decided on the KODAK DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI System because it best fit the company’s client needs. With its new DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI System, Printech runs a full shift, with a second shift starting soon.
“At Printech, we continuously strive for better quality and faster turnaround for our clients and the DIRECTPRESS 5634 DI System does the trick,” said Furci.
