Herzlia (November 2, 2005) Creo Print On-Demand Solutions Group (PODS) announced today the successful completion of PPML integration between the Creo digital color server line and DirectSmile variable data printing (VDP) applications, bringing DirectSmile into the Creo PODS VDP Partnership Program.  The Creo Print On-Demand Solutions Group is a unit of Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group.

The integration makes the industry-leading DirectSmile image personalization capabilities and highly integrated VDP solution available to Creo Print On-Demand Solutions Group customers. They can now create personalized, full-color documents using the DirectSmile application and Creo PODS digital color servers.

The DirectSmile VDP application suite is a leading image personalization technology for highly personal, emotional direct mail. The VDP document solution, using Adobe® InDesign® software, allows unlimited variability for content and design with simple and efficient workflow. The cross-media workflow system enables document configuration using data from any source, and creation of any output format needed, including web and e-mail.
